The Same Worlds

BDO Emerging Artist Award exhibition, PILOT Gallery, Riga, Latvia,

Several billion years ago, different microorganisms met to eat each other but instead decided to create a partnership. The artwork reflects the memories of the origins and development of life, embodied in currently living bacteria. The idea is based on the thesis of evolutionary biologist Lynn Margulis.

The work was exhibited at the Art Academy of Latvia graduation exhibition Let It Sprout and was shortlisted for the BDO Emerging Artist Award exhibition at PILOT Gallery (Riga, Latvia).
